~Mallory~ 18 months

Mallory is still my little peanut.  At her 18 month check up she was 3% for height and 18% for weight.

Shes is size 3 disposables, and mostly 12 month clothing with some 9 month stuff. Shoes are between a 3/4.

She's a climber.  Like does things months before Eleanor did.

We are nursing 3 times a day (wake up, nape and bedtime).  She has been a picky eater lately.  She'll eat a few bites and then want to be done.  But she loves cheese balls, veggie straws, berries, yogurt.

She's talking a lot. New words every single day.

Still not sleeping through the night.  She might once or twice a month.  She spends part of the night in bed with me.

She adores her big sister and looks for "sissy" when she wakes up in the morning or at nap time.

Her favorite toys/activites are her baby, putting on Eleanor's cowgirl boots, the swing and super simple songs on youtube.

She's a great helper when it comes to throwing things away and sometimes I think she listens better than Eleanor.

One year

Late as usual here but computer issues this time.

My wild child turned one recently.  And she is ready to attack toddler hood full speed ahead.

She is a pro at climbing stairs...and boxes...and whatever she can find.

I've seen her take 1-2 steps but she can't stand unassisted for a few seconds.

Mallory loves getting into the fridge, dishwasher, and the bathroom, and Eleanor's underwear drawer.

She can say: hi, bye, dada, mama, no ,uh oh, thank you, mallory

She is still in size 3 diapers (hopefully for a long time because I have a lot left) , middle rise on cloth diapers

Her clothes are 9 month size.

17 1/2 lbs (20%) 27 inches (2%), 98% head

Mallory loves fruit.  Could eat it all day.  Also loves tacos, veggie straws, green beans & yogurt.

She is nursing between 5-6 times a day.  When she wakes up, before nap, after nap, once in the afternoon, bedtime and overnight.

Still not sleeping through the night (she did one time just before her birthday,  Once in a year).  She naps late morning for anywhere between and hour to two hours and that's it unless she falls asleep in the car.

5 Teeth.  3 on top, 2 on bottom.

52 weeks

And this is it.  The last of the weekly updates.  And since Mallory is our last child (like 95% sure) I won't have to do another one of these.  Or get to.  I mean I'm late almost every single week, but it's still nice to look back and compare her growth.

Nursing sessions are stretched out during the day.  She still nursers overnight and while I do still nurse on demand she can usually go 4-5 hours sometimes.

She took her first steps this week.

Another new tooth popped through.  That make 6.

We had a few super rough nights.  We were at a hotel and then she had a cough and got a new tooth so all that added up to no sleep for me.

But the last few days have been a better.

Mallory ~51 weeks~

Girl is a wild woman.  She is fearless and so busy.

She actually fell asleep in her high chair one day which is so unusual for her.  She still winds up in bed with me often, but I'd say sleep is a little better.  Not great, but better.

I've been giving her more food pouches lately and she loves them.  We have so many jars/tubs of baby food so I have some that we were given that I just fill up with those pre made purees.  I need to likely get some reusable ones though.

Mallory ~50 Weeks~

Lots of it!  Nothing new but loving corn, chicken and triscut crackers this week.
Oh I did fill a food pouch for her and she can manage to suck it down which is nice that she can manage that.

She's been pooping a lot lately.  Like most of her diapers are poopy.  I don't know what it is or why but I'm tired of butt wiping.

So she started standing this week.  Like for 3-4 seconds; she did 8 today!

She saying "hi" super clearly and she said what sounded like "got you" today.

There have been a few nights where she has not gone down until 10/10:30 at night.  Its get her to sleep, lay her down, 5 minutes later she's up. Repeat several more times until I want to scream.

Mallory 11 Months

Late as usual

Still in the size 3 disposable diapers.  I have so many of them so hopefully she stays in them for a while.  I think it's time to go down a rise on cloth diapers.

Mallory is wearing 6-9 month onesies, 9 month pants, and heading into 9 month jammies although some are still big

She got tooth 5 at eleven months exactly.

This month she started clapping (which is legit the cutest thing ever), pulling up on all the things, pulling down all the thing, & getting into all the things.

Not sure about new foods, I'm terrible at keeping track.

She will usually take a good hour and a half to two hour nap around 10/11am.  Nights are rough, and she still doesn't sleep more than 3-4 hours at a time.  She often winds up in bed with me.

She is slowly getting better with her clinginess, but  it's still very much there.  Some days I can't even shower without her screaming outside the door.

~Mallory~ 49 weeks

Apparently she is a pro at climbing stairs.  I let her try once in the basement a few weeks ago and she made it up one, but at our friends I decided to see how far she could go and she made it up like 6.  Eleanor never did them this early, but I also never let her try until much later.

Obviously her first Christmas was a big deal!

She had a slight fever Christmas eve and I was worried, but it wasn't to bad.  However she was up like every single hour that night, and the following night I realized that she likely was having drainage from a runny nose, so I tried her on my chest, but ended up getting the rock n play back out and she slept better (not awesome) in that.

When we were having our christmas celebration with Rob's dad/sister his dad was eating a brownie and she was trying so hard to get to papa's brownie.  She literally climbed all over him (see picture) and got in his face.
